This policy explains which cookie categories and similar technologies may operate on the Avivar website, why they are used, and how visitors can control optional analytics and embedded-service choices.
Security, forms, consent storage, and basic functionality may require necessary technologies.
Analytics and third-party booking features should be managed through appropriate consent controls where required.
Visitors can use Website preferences, browser settings, and provider-specific tools to control cookies.

1. Scope of This Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Avivar Co. LLC, operating under the brand names Avivar™ and Avivar Co.™ (“Avivar,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on avivarco.com.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website or service stores on a browser or device. They can help a website remember preferences, maintain a session, measure activity, support security, or enable embedded services.
Similar technologies may include pixels, local storage, software-development kits, tags, scripts, device identifiers, and server-side measurement. In this policy, “cookies” is used as a convenient term for these technologies unless the context requires otherwise.
3. Why We Use Cookies
Avivar may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Operate and secure the Website
- Remember visitor preferences and consent choices
- Support forms, scheduling, and other requested functionality
- Understand how visitors use the Website
- Measure page and campaign performance
- Improve navigation, content, accessibility, and user experience
- Detect errors, misuse, fraud, or security concerns
4. Cookie Categories
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies support core functions such as security, network management, session continuity, consent storage, form protection, and accessibility. The Website may not work correctly without them.
Preference and functionality cookies
These cookies remember choices or support requested features, such as language, display preferences, form continuity, or an embedded scheduling experience.
Analytics and performance cookies
These cookies help us understand page visits, sessions, device and browser categories, approximate geography, traffic sources, and how visitors interact with Website content. They help us improve the Website and evaluate whether content is useful.
Embedded and third-party service cookies
When a third-party feature is embedded—such as a booking calendar, video, map, or form—the provider may set cookies or use similar technologies under its own policies.
Advertising cookies
Avivar does not currently intend to use the Website’s public cookie program for unrelated third-party behavioral advertising. If advertising or remarketing technologies are added, this policy and the Website’s consent controls should be updated before or when they are activated.
5. Current and Expected Website Technologies
The Website currently uses or is designed to use the following categories of services. Actual cookies can vary by configuration, browser, consent choice, and provider update.
| Service | How it is used | Cookie category | Important note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | Measures Website usage, sessions, devices, traffic sources, and content performance. | Analytics / performance | GA4 commonly uses first-party _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies when enabled. |
| Google Tag Manager | Manages Website tags and can pass consent choices to configured tags. | Tag management | Tag Manager is a delivery system; the tags loaded through it determine whether cookies or similar identifiers are used. |
| WordPress | Operates the Website and may support language, login, security, and administrative functions. | Necessary / functionality | Public visitors may receive fewer WordPress cookies than administrators or logged-in users. |
| WPForms or similar forms | Receives Website inquiries and may use anti-spam, session, preference, or form-functionality technologies depending on configuration. | Necessary / functionality | Form features and enabled add-ons determine the technologies used. |
| Microsoft Bookings | Provides appointment scheduling when a booking page or iframe is embedded or opened. | Functionality / third party | Microsoft controls the cookies used within its booking environment, and names or durations may change. |
| Consent-management platform | Stores and communicates a visitor’s cookie choices when a consent banner is enabled. | Strictly necessary | The cookie name and duration depend on the selected consent provider. |
A technology listed here may not set a cookie on every visit. Some features activate only when used, consented to, configured, or opened.
6. Known Google Analytics Cookies
Google’s published default information for Google Analytics 4 identifies the following first-party cookies:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Default expiration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes users. | 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | Persists session state. | 2 years |
Browser restrictions, Avivar’s Analytics settings, consent mode, or future configuration changes may shorten, suppress, or alter how these cookies operate.
7. Cookie Consent and Preference Management
Where consent is required or where Avivar chooses to provide additional controls, the Website may display a cookie banner or preference center. Necessary cookies may remain active because they support core Website functions. Optional analytics, functionality, embedded-service, or advertising categories may be offered separately.
Google Consent Mode can communicate consent choices to Google tags and adjust their behavior; it does not itself provide the visible consent banner. A separate consent-management mechanism is needed to collect and store visitor choices.
After a consent platform is implemented, the Website should provide a persistent Cookie Settings link so visitors can review or change optional choices.
8. Embedded Services and Third-Party Content
Some Website features may load content from another provider. For example, an embedded Microsoft Bookings calendar may allow a visitor to view availability and schedule an appointment without leaving the page. The provider may receive device, browser, network, interaction, account, or scheduling information and may use cookies under its own terms.
Where technically practical and legally appropriate, Avivar may delay optional embedded content until the visitor makes a cookie choice. Visitors may also be offered a direct link to open the third-party service in a new window.
9. How to Control or Delete Cookies
You may control cookies through:
- The Website’s cookie banner or preference center, when available
- Your browser settings, including blocking, deleting, or limiting cookies
- Private or incognito browsing modes
- Device privacy settings
- Provider-specific opt-out tools, where available
Blocking all cookies may affect forms, scheduling, saved preferences, authentication, embedded content, or other Website functions.
You may also review Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on at Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
10. Browser Privacy Signals
Browsers and extensions may send “Do Not Track,” Global Privacy Control, or similar signals. The technical and legal treatment of these signals varies by jurisdiction and Website configuration.
Avivar will configure its consent and privacy tools to honor legally required signals where applicable. This policy does not promise that every browser signal will be recognized by every third-party service or older browser.
11. Information Collected Through Analytics
Depending on configuration and consent, analytics technologies may collect or derive information such as:
- Page views and navigation events
- Session statistics and engagement information
- Approximate location
- Browser, operating system, device type, and screen information
- Referral source, campaign, or link information
- Website errors and performance information
Do not place confidential or sensitive information into URLs, search fields, or other Website elements that may be captured as technical or analytics data.
12. Cookie Duration, Retention, and Changes
Cookies may be session cookies that expire when a browser closes or persistent cookies that remain until they expire or are deleted. Duration depends on purpose, configuration, consent choice, browser restrictions, and provider settings.
Avivar may update its Website technologies over time. This policy may be revised when providers, cookie categories, business practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated when material revisions are made.
